MY PURSE = MY LIFE

I saw this post and thought it was a little weird. Then I realized, my purse tells a lot about me so I thought I would post this as a little getting to know me. I LOVE purses! They are an addiction for me. I was so proud of myself when I cleaned out my closet and went from purses along the top shelf on both sides to just one side! That was a big accomplishment for me :-) I feel the need to have everything with me just in case! You never know when you will need something like a tide stick or a pair of tweezers. I change purses a lot so I like the contents to be easily transferable. So here goes my purse..... 1.My book-I am always reading so I keep a book in my purse. Who knows when you will get stuck waiting somewhere! This month for book group we are reading The Book Thief....not done yet but I will let you know what I think.

2.Hairspray-yes some of you may have thought that was compressed air or a large can of mase, nope just hairspray! Walmart....$4.89 and it is the best!

3.My wallet-cards, id and full of receipts! I save EVERY receipt...I used to ask Dave at the end of every day for his receipts. Pretty sure he hated it! I have to match them to my statement every month and make sure no one has hacked my account and taken my millions...he he he!

4.My little wallet-looks just like my wallet but it is just full of punch cards, gift cards, discount cards, club cards...you all know what I am talking about! There is a card for everything!!!

5.My keys-better in my purse than locked in my car :-)

6.The clear makeup bag-It was an impulse buy for sure! I went to the Mac counter and told myself all I needed was one eyeshadow...doesn't work for me! I ended up with 3 eye shadows, lip gloss, a new brush and this bag. (I know you have all done the same thing in some way!) Well it turned out to be a GREAT idea! I just throw everything in it: lotion, lip gloss, dental floss, ibuprofen, visine, rice paper, tweezers, face powder and a hair tie or two! Makes it so much easier for changing purses frequently! You have all you "needs" right there!
7.My I pod-seriously why didn't I invent this! Brilliant! All of your CD's crammed into this little electronic device! LOVE IT!!!

8.Drum roll please........ MY PHONE! Let's be honest, it is in my hand way more than in my purse! I was telling Megan the other day that Jorja and I went to dinner and left our phones in the car the WHOLE time! Like this was a big accomplishment....help! I need to detox! It is a love hate relationship I have with it!

I <3 FRIENDS

So last night I had so many emotions rolled up into one evening I thought I would burst! Without rambling on for hours (and getting way too emotional) I will say there were mainly three elements to my night that made for such a strange experience: new life, old friends, and death. They all included friends, so today I have thought a lot about my friends which brings me to my blogging. Being single and loving every bit of it, for now, my relationship with my friends means the world to me!!! I can't thank all of you enough for all that you bring to my life! *insert tear here* LOVE MY FRIENDS!!! I mean that from the bottom of my heart even if I am a bit of a smart @$s along the way :-) Now with that said, I know what all of you are thinking....Kasey where are your pictures! For someone who takes pics like the paparazzi I sure fall short on posting them on this here blog. I will get myself into a 6 step program and get on that!!!

My sister and YUMMY nephew came over to visit the other day and I was on the computer. He is into everything! He wanted so bad to see what I was doing...I felt bad telling him no so I let him type. He thought it was so cool! I LOVE spending time with this little guy!!!

Slacker

So I guess to be an effective blogger you have to update more than every month and a half... ;)
I don't mean to be such a slacker but life gets so busy! I have no idea how you girls do it with all your kids! Kudos!!! For those of you who don't know, I love quotes! I have them on the front of the fridge and change them all the time. So... here is my quote for today " Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint on it you can."
